Daniel Braunstein is an Audio Programmer, Software Generalist, and Spatial Audio Researcher. He is currently a Software Development Engineer at Embody’s Gaming division, working on the Wwise Plugin and Immerse Gaming product lines, putting personalized spatial audio in the hands of Players, Developers, and Audio Artists.

Integrating his industry experience and academic research in auditory perception in immersive environments, he strives to bridge the gap between emerging theoretical concepts and practical end-user experience.

As a lifelong student and teacher, Daniel is passionate about encouraging and aiding folks at any and every step of their journey while seeking to foster a more equitable and inclusive community everywhere he goes.

Daniel currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, where he can often be found at Jazz or Comedy clubs, local music venues and artist pop-ups, or just taking a stroll around the neighborhood.
